General Purpose Solenoid Valves - Direct Lift

Solenoid operated valves are devices that control the flow of liquids or gases. When energized, a magnetic field builds in the wire coil of the solenoid and this attracts the plunger to the iron top, against the force of the plunger spring. When de-energised, the magnetic field collapses, the plunger returns to its original position and the valve re-sets to its normal position.

Direct Lift valves are so called because the movement of the solenoid plunger directly opens or closes the valve as the seating disc is attached to the plunger. These valves will operate from zero pressure differential to their maximum rated pressure.

Goyen produces a large selection of direct lift solenoid valves, for many industrial applications, in 2 or 3 way and normally closed or normally open configurations.

The Goyen B6M 2 way normally closed series are small solenoid operated general purpose fluid control valves equipped with inline connections. Similar to the Q3M series these feature larger ports, flow capacity and solenoid coil power.

Operating using the direct lift principle, the activation of the coil moves the plunger off the main valve seat opening the valve fully.

Available in a comprehensive range of AC and DC coil voltages, seal materials and valve body composition the B6M 2 way NC series can be specified to meet individual application requirements.

Further, depending on the flow rate of the fluid medium required, varying CV factors can be specified.

The B6M series 2 way NC range is available only in 1/4" Rc pipe size.

Coil and seal replacement kits can be supplied on request.

The Goyen B6M 2 way normally open series of direct operated valves are similar in design and construction to the B6M series 2 way normally close version.

Normally open valves will shut when the coil solenoid is activated and open when coil is de-activated.

Similar to the normally closed version, a complete range of AC and DC coil voltages, seal materials and body material compositions are available. This allows the B6M 2 way N.O series to be specified to meet specific individual application requirements.

Further, depending on the flow rate of the fluid media required, varying CV factors can be specified.

The B6M series 2 way N.O valve range is available only in 1/8" Rc port size.

The Goyen B6M 3 way normally closed series are small solenoid operated general purpose fluid control valves equipped with inline connections. Similar to the Q3M series, these feature larger ports, flow capacity and solenoid coil power.

Operating using the direct lift principle, the activation of the coil moves the plunger off the main valve seat opening the valve fully.

Available in a comprehensive range of AC and DC coil voltages, seal materials and valve body composition, the B6M 3 way NC series can be specified to meet individual application requirements.

The Goyen BL 2 way normally closed series are forged brass, solenoid operated, general purpose fluid control valves equipped with inline connectors similar to the B6M series but with larger port sizes, flow capacity and different valve body design.

Operating using the direct lift principle the activation of the coil moves the plunger off the main valve seat, opening the valve fully.

Available in a comprehensive range of AC and DC coil voltages, seal materials and port sizes, the BL 2 way NC series can meet a wide range of individual fluid control application requirements.

This series is available in 4 port sizes 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1" Rc.
