ERA Ranger Mine NT Groundwater Monitoring Network
Project Summary
An automated groundwater monitoring system was designed and installed by Greenspan for the ERA Ranger Mine site in mid 2005. The system comprises a network of 17 Groundwater monitoring bores each equipped with depth and conductivity sensors. Data from the sensors is collected by data loggers and transmitted via radio link to a local base station. Graphical and tabular data displays and warning system alert operators to any changes in the groundwater conditions around the Tailings Pit.
